A Day of Wood at Vincennes University drew wood manufacturers from Herman Miller, Haworth, Kimball, MasterBrand, OFM, Jasper Group and others to the recently opened Center for Technology, Innovation and Manufacturing in Jasper. Purdue U.'s Dan Cassens coordinated.

FDMC magazine's Will Sampson looks at key wood manufacturing technology and tools from 2015, with examples of each. "It was a good year for the woodworking industry and an especially good year for innovations in tools for professional woodworking," says Sampson. CCI Media will acquire Woodworking Network, part of a larger deal by Vance Publishing to sell all of its assets to Farm Journal Media, Bobit Business Media and CCI Media, Inc. Following the deal, Vance Publishing will ceasae operations.
