After receiving overwhelming response upon announcing it will close, 180-year-old E.A. Clore Sons has decided to remain open.

E.A. Clore Sons, Inc., a Madison, Virgina, furniture manufacturer that prides itself on traditional joinery methods and animal hide glue, will close for good. The company said it would take some orders as time and materials allow, but add a 20 percent surcharge to those orders. It was founded by a son of a German immigrant in 1830.
