The Northern California-based company, which focused on manufacturing sustainably-sourced building products, including the creation of the world's first no-added-formaldehyde, rice straw-based medium-density fiberboard, Eureka™ MDF,  announced on May 15 that it will be proceeding with an orderly liquidation of its assets.

CalPlant wins Global Awards in Top Manufacturing from the Engineering News Record. The sustainable MDF brand received the awards for its flagship product Eureka.

The manufacturer of Eureka MDF has entered into a PSA while pursuing a sale of the company. CalPlant said it will continue to operate during the process without disruption to vendors, customers, or employees.
