The Home Depot announced Oct. 29 it had finalized the $924.9 million acquisition of U.S. Home Systems Inc. (USHS), a provider of kitchen and bath cabinet refacing products as well as closet and garage organizational systems

U.S. Home Systems, Inc. (USHS) announced today that it has established a record date and a meeting date for a special meeting of its stockholders to consider and vote upon, among other things, a proposal to adopt the previously announced Agreement and Plan of Merger dated as of August 6, 2012, between USHS, THD At-Home Services, Inc., which is a wholly-owned subsidiary of The Home Depot, Inc., and Umpire Acquisition Corp., a wholly-owned subsidiary of Parent.

DALLAS -- U.S. Home Systems Inc. (NASDAQ: USHS) posted revenues of $33.1 million for the first quarter ended March 31, a 26.6% increase over the same period the previous year.
