WASHINGTON - Inez Tenenbaum, chairman of the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission, is making fires of sofas and other upholstered furniture a priority, according to the Post and Courier. "Preventing loss of life from upholstered furniture fires is one of my top priorities," Tenenbaum said in a statement to the newspaper. She added that hopes to have a new fire safety rule "as soon as possible." T
