Fortune Brands Home & Security named Brett E. Finley as president of its Therma-Tru business unit. He assumes the role effective Feb. 15, 2016 and will report to Christopher Klein, chief executive officer, Fortune Brands.

Following more than a year of housing market recovery, Mark Savan, president of Therma-Tru Doors and Simonton Windows, sees 2014 as a year where the companies are well positioned to meet consumer needs by producing quality products in a timely manner and offering strong service at all customer levels.

Blackstone and Bain Capital are circling Fortune Brands assets ( MasterBrand Cabinets, Simonton Windows, Therma-Tru Doors, etc.), reports Reuters. The Deerfield, IL conglomerate filed to sell its $3 billion Home Unit last month.

Fortune Brands $3 billion home unit includes MasterBrand Cabinets (Aristokraft, Decorá, Diamond, Omega and Kitchen Craft), Therma-Tru doors, Simonton windows, and its largest brand, Moen faucets.
