PAVE’s 19th Annual Student Design Competition Winners Announced

PAVE’s influence over tomorrow’s retail designers and visual merchandisers continues to grow. The Planning and Visual Education Partnership (PAVE) will award $19,000 in grants to students and $6,000 in school awards based on the winning entries of its 2013 Student Design Competition. Judging took place Nov. 1, 2013, at the Sephora offices in San Francisco.

Officers and Directors Elected to PAVE Board

The educational foundation for the retail environments industry, PAVE, has elected Denny Gerdeman to a second term as president. The founder and CEO of Chute Gerdeman was re-elected during the April 15 PAVE board meeting in Chicago. Gerdeman said he is excited to work with the PAVE Board of Directors to build on the foundation's momentum of increased support of students during his second term.

PAVE 3D Design Challenge Winners Announced

A University of Cincinnati student, Yuan Zeng, captured top honors in the Planning and Visual Education Partnership's 2012-13 PAVE the Way 3D Design Challenge, sponsored by Van Stry Design. This competition, now in its fourth year, offered students a chance to see their designs come to life, gain exposure at a major industry trade show, and win cash awards.
