WASHINGTON - The U.S. Department of Commerce (DOC) is giving itself an additional six months to complete its administrative review of the antidumping duty order on wooden bedroom furniture imported from China in 2010.

La-Z-Boy Inc. will partner with Kuka Home, one of China's largest furniture producers and retailers, for distribution and manufacture of La-Z-Boy recliners and motion furniture in China.The deal includes U.S.-made furniture to ship to China.

La-Z-Boy Incorporated reported its operating results for the fiscal third quarter 2012.

La-Z-Boy Inc. announced sales for the fiscal second quarter increased 5.0%, compared to the same period last year. Sales for the second quarter were $307.7 million, while the company reported net income of $7.9 million, compared with $3.9 million in 2011.

La-Z-Boy Incorporated (NYSE: LZB) today reported its operating results for the fiscal first quarter ended July 30, 2011.

Its sales up, casegoods and upholstery manufacturer La-Z-Boy said Harold McCawley will take over for Darrell Edwards at its 2,100 employee, 1.2 million square-foot Tennessee facility, effective July 1.
