La-Z-Boy Incorporated announced it intends to acquire nine La-Z-Boy Furniture Galleries stores and a supporting distribution center in southern Ohio. Included in the acquisition are four stores in Cincinnati, three in Columbus and two in Dayton, with combined revenue in calendar 2011 of approximately $30 million.
La-Z-Boy Inc. reported that it received more than $18 million in wood bedroom furniture antidumping income, increasing its fiscal 2012 profit to $88.9 million, more than five times the net income it posted in FY 2011.
