Georgia-Pacific today announced that it has reached an agreement to acquire the assets of the Temple-Inland Building Products business from International Paper Co.
International Paper will sell its Temple-Inland Building Products division to Georgia-Pacific LLC for $750 million in cash. The transaction is expected to be completed in the first quarter of 2013.
