Haworth has signed an agreement to acquire Lodz, Poland-based Mikomax Smart Office, a family-owned manufacturer of acoustic pods for telephone conversations, videoconferences, focus work and meetings.

Haworth Inc. said its Italian unit Lifestyle Design had signed an agreement with Progressio SGR to buy the private equity firm's majority stake in Italian high-end interior design group Interni.

The decision was made earlier this month to close Airea Inc., which is one of the companies in Johnson’s Piston Group LLC holding company.
