Thirty-three Fresh Wood student finalists won monetary prizes ranging from $250 to $1,000, along with trophies and software prizes.
The Association of Woodworking & Furnishings Suppliers will continue the Special Theme Category for the Fresh Wood student woodworking competition. The competition, which will be showcased at the 2017 AWFS Fair, July 19-22, in Las Vegas, is open to high school and post-secondary students in accredited woodworking or related programs. Entry applications will be accepted until May 1, 2017.
COMMERCE, CA – Entry forms are due Friday, April 30, for the Association of Woodworking and Furnishings Suppliers’ contest to design the promotional poster for the 2011 Fresh Wood Competition. The Fresh Wood Competition is a biennial student furniture design contest held at the AWFS Fair in Las Vegas, NV, next scheduled for July 20-23, 2011.
