Flexsteel Industries Inc. has appointed Jerald Dittmer president and CEO of the residential and contract furniture provider. The appointment is effective Dec. 28.

DUBUQUE, Iowa  - Flexsteel Industries Inc. has tapped Marcus D. Hamilton to be the new CFO of the residential furniture giant, effective Jan. 8. Hamilton replaces Timothy E. Hall, who is retiring from the company after 23 years of service.

  The furniture industry wasn’t necessarily the first, or even second, career choice for Dave Bashor, who early on aspired to be an architect, and later enrolled in the police academy. But for Bashor, it would prove to be the best choice.

Flexsteel has completed the design phase of its company-wide business information project and the first of three development and testing cycles, investing $9.2 million last quarter.
