Master WoodCraft expands cabinet production

MARSHALL, Texas - Master WoodCraft Cabinetry is finishing up a $2 million expansion that the cabinet manufacturer said will increase capacity by 15 percent and add 35 jobs. "Business is very good. We're doing this to meet our customers' needs," COO Mark Trexler told local media. The expansion will add a third production line at the company's main facility in Marshall, Texas. Also planned is an additional parts department and shipping area.

Carter Lumber to open $10 million manufacturing facility

BOWLING GREEN, Ky.  - Carter Lumber will open a $10 million Kight Home Center manufacturing facility in Bowling Green, Kentucky, creating 50 jobs in the area. Founded in 1932, in Akron, Ohio, the family-owned Carter Lumber is reportedly the fifth largest lumberyard in the United States, operating 150 locations across 12 states under four branded divisions: Carter Lumber, Holmes Lumber Co., Kight Home Center and Kempsville Building Materials.

ACPI expands frameless cabinet operations

Expanded production of acpi's Studio Full Access frameless cabinetry will begin in July with the startup of a 200,000-square-foot second manufacturing facility in Pennsylvania. The frameless line is sold under the Advanta Cabinets brand for the multifamily housing market.

Panel Processing expands TFL capacity

ALPENA, Mich. - Panel Processing Inc. announced it will expand its thermally fused laminating capacity with the purchase of a short-cycle press line for the company's Memorial Drive facility in Klamath Falls, Oregon.
