RANDOM LAKE, Wis. — A furniture manufacturer in southern Wisconsin plans to invest $3.5 million to expand its facilities by 25,000 square feet, bringing their facility to 50,000 square feet.
Dorel Industries Inc. has entered into an extensive equipment investment at three of its North American factories as well as the purchase of Notio Living, an ecommerce home furnishings firm based in Holstebro, Denmark.
Gregory Pallet and Lumber Co. will invest $3.4 million to upgrade and open its first location in North Carolina. When completed, it will create 25 full-time jobs in the area.
Worthington Architectural Millwork will invest $1.473 million over the next three years to expand its manufacturing operation in Orange County, Virginia. The company specializes in high-end custom cabinetry and millwork.
Phase one includes nearly $19 million to upgrade lumber kiln-drying capacity, while the second phase will include an investment of approximately $138 million to completely modernize the Louisiana-based facility.
Interfor will invest $30 million to expand its sawmill operations in Perry, Georgia, according to an announcement by Gov. Brian Kemp and the Georgia Department of Economic Development.
The $550,000 investment includes upgrades to the gang rip and glue lines.
