At the Kitchen & Bath Industry Show a number of companies are displaying cabinetry and accessories targeted to multi-generational family homes, including those with aging populations.

STANLEY, NC -- Blum Inc. will showcase its Age Explorer Suit at the Kitchen & Bath Industry Show on April 26 and 27 at its booth C5351 in Las Vegas.

Exhibit sales for the AWFS Fair have picked up strongly as SCM Group North America, Haefele America, Blum, Timesavers, Salice, Thermwood, Planit Solutions, Grass America and companies who sat out the last edition will return in 2011, including Stiles Machinery, Biesse America, C.R. Onsrud and Weinig.

In response to the boom in home improvements and refurbishment over recent years, and given the larger role the kitchen now plays in homes today, to the extent that it is the space that has perhaps undergone the greatest change, the first joint edition of ZOW-TCB has decided to present “The Kitchen of the Future.”

Several of our industry’s top machinery companies have made public their intentions not to exhibit at this year’s International Woodworking Machinery & Furniture Supply Fair in Atlanta. In addition, several industry trade publications and Web sites have openly questioned whether attending this show will be worthwhile if large companies like Stiles, Biesse, Weinig and others are absent. Lower attendance expectations have many exhibitors like Blum, Inc. concerned.
