American Woodmark Cabinetry Net Income Rises 65 Percent

Cabinetry manufacturer American Woodmark Corporation first quarter sales increased 9% to $231.2 million, with growth in both the dealer and new construction channels during the first quarter of fiscal year 2016. Amerian Woodmark says 45 percent of its sales are from Lowe's and The Home Depot.

American Woodmark Net Income Up 75% for the Year 2015

WINCHESTER, VA -  American Woodmark Corporation (NASDAQ: AMWD) fourth quarter 2015 sales increased 10% to $206.9 million, with growth in both the remodeling and new construction channels during the period.  Growth in new construction cabinetry sales exceeded 15%. It was also a  good year overall, with American Woodmarket reporting net sales of $825.5 million, up 14% over 2014.

American Woodmark Corporation (NASDAQ: AMWD), named Cary Dunston, President and COO, its fourth CEO in its 35 years. He succeeds Kent Guichard who remains non-executive Chairman of the Board. Dunston joined the Company in 2006 as Senior Vice President, Manufacturing.
