More foreign investors are finding the production cost advantages in their homelands is less valuable than being directly attached to the world’s greatest consumer market.
It’s about time Congress shows it is serious about supporting American manufacturing. I don’t just mean the House Democrats deciding it is now politically correct to promote products “Made in America." I’m referring to the bipartisan Manufacturing Reinvestment Account Act of 2010.
Under the heading of “better late than never,” let’s give the Democratic Party credit for finally realizing that American manufacturing is vital to our economic recovery.
