PASADENA, Calif. - The 2018 People's Choice Top Shelf Design Award goes to Jeanne Hessen, Closet Factory, who received the most likes on Woodworking Network's Facebook page for her project "Siperstein's Home Office."

Project Details:

Home office for a doctor in Delray Beach, Florida, who wanted a contemporary multi-functioning office with clean smooth and flowing lines.

Features include white B2 maple slab cabinets with full overlay, lights placed on floating shelves to accent accessories. Doormark textured material is used on the wall panel and waterfall under the desk. A 1/2-inch glass was used on the peninsula and over the waterfall. Quartz was used on sides of the peninsula and on the bench.The bench doubles as file storage for the client and also toy drawers for her son. There is also a pop-up electrical outlet on the countertop for the client to be able to plug in electronics. 

Hessen will receive an award plaque and will be featured in the June issue of Closets & Organized Storage magazine along with the 2018 Top Shelf Design Award category winners.
