SCM plans robotic integration for woodworking event May 23-24

DULUTH, Ga. -- SCM will present a seminar featuring educational presentations and innovative demos targeting robotic integration for woodworking technologies May 23 and 24.  

Demonstrations will include real case scenarios of the techniques used to streamline production processes. Attendees will learn the fundamentals of collaborative and industrial robotic integration best practices, and how to safely implement these concepts to drive cost and time savings to ultimately increase overall productivity and profitability. 

Seminar topics include collaborative robotics, industrial robotics, woodworking robotic applications, finishing robotic applications, safety risk assessments and return on investment.

Technical demonstrations will includes end-effectors and vacuum applications, vision technology, Maestro Smartech remote support, robot loading/unloading CNCs, interactive robot programming station and mobile robot demos.
