THE WOODLANDS, Texas & CALGARY, Alberta. - Spindle, Stairs, & Railings, a customer of Global Shop Solutions, has been nominated for a 2018 Top Choice Award for their excellence in manufacturing. The company says that the award means a lot to them because Top Choice Awards are given to businesses by first-hand customers.

"As entrepreneurs we strive to do what is right for our business, our customers, employees, and vendors," said Kevin Halliday, Spindle, Stairs, & Railings owner. "We are constantly adapting and moving forward. The nomination for the Top Choice Award helps to validate the choices we have made and we are extremely pleased to be recognized."

Based in Calgary and founded in 1999, Spindle, Stairs, & Railings is a made-to-order stairs and railings manufacturer for Canada and specializes in maple hardwood with its crafted staircases being renowned for standing the test of time. The company's plant implements Global Shop Solutions' ERP software and offers a diverse selection of metal spindles, and hand-crafted wooden spindles with a variety of styles and finishes.

"[Spindle, Stairs, & Railings] was built on a stair and railing package sold to a customer in a Home Depot parking lot, and nearly 20 years later, they are one of the premiere manufacturers for stairs and railings in North America," said Dusty Alexander, Global Shop Solutions CEO and president. "They’ve come a long way and are now in the running for a 2018 Top Choice Award. It’s an honor to know them, and serve them with our ERP software.”
