As a novice I’ve just bought a scroll saw, intending to make some toys for my grandchildren. My first attempt was on a piece of 3/4 inch American white oak. It took me about 5 minutes to make a straight cut of about one inch length. I thought this to be painfully slow. Am I expecting too much of 125 Watts?
