The Quebec Wood Export Bureau (QWEB), in collaboration with the Quebec Forest Industry Council (QFIC), the Maritime Lumber Bureau (MLB) et the Ontario Forest Industries Association (OFIA) are delighted with the outcome of the 2013 Montréal Wood Convention, which ended today at the hotel Fairmont The Queen Elizabeth. The resumption of this traditional meeting between lumber purchasers and producers proved to be a success in terms not only of the number of registered participants but also of the quality of the featured speakers.

The Montreal Convention on Wood, a North American gathering of wood and lumber products buyers and sellers, ends its hiatus Feb. 14 with presenters from Tembec, Idaho Forest Products, Eacom Timber, and Resolute Forest.
