Developing designs for baltic birch plywood cut outs & assembly. The cat shown is of medium complexity 5mm parts, could be 6mm. Other smaller simpler designs are 4mm. Need formaldehyde free baltic birch in B/B & B/BB grades, possible supplier? Need feedback also on following; Laser cutting (concern about blackened edge & smoke smell) versus water jet (concern about water staining)? Finishing; Have used FOLKART water based non toxic clear satin & colored dyes seem to work well.
