CHICAGO - Daubert Chemical, known in the wood products industry as an adhesive and coatings supplier, unveiled a group of videos showcasing the company’s work within the transportation industry, including some that overlap with plywood panel manufacture, such as Supreme Industries.
Headquartered in Goshen, Indiana, Supreme Industries builds vehicle bodies with a specialized fiberglass reinforced plywood (FRP), which it also sells to competitors, manufactured in a state-of-the-art Tower Structural Laminating (TSL) facility using a patented manufacturing process.
The “Daubert Transportation Industry Tour” includes snippets of some of their customers praising “application level” know-how that exists among Daubert’s salespeople. Products showcased in the video included two products used by suppliers to the trailer manufacturing industry for pre-coating trailer wood flooring, and Daubond PUR, Daubert’s hot melt polyurethane adhesive used in lamination and assembly, shown in this video.
