Rembe Introduces Next Generation Isolation DevicesCHARLOTTE, NC -- REMBE, Inc. is proud to introduce its next generation Q-FlapCompact II and Q FlapCompact II Plus Inlet Isolation Devices.

Industrial processes can result in explosive dust/air mixtures in equipment such as dust collectors, mills and the like. If ignition sources cannot be eliminated due to process conditions, these systems must be equipped with explosion protection equipment such as venting and isolation devices. With the use of an isolation device, connected ductwork is decoupled or isolated from protected equipment so that flames and explosion pressure will not be conveyed into other areas.

Rembe Introduces Next Generation Isolation DevicesWith the REMBE Q-FlapCompact II inlet isolation device series, explosions in nearly every industry can be effectively isolated. The Q-FlapCompact II series is a fully ATEX approved, NFPA compliant passive explosion protection device that is cost effective and easy to install and maintain relative to other alternatives. No need for actuation sensors—in the event of an explosion, the Q-FlapCompact II flap shuts tight from the force of the pressure wave. A locking mechanism or damper prevents the Q-FlapCompact II from flutter, keeping the explosion isolated from the rest of the process upstream.

REMBE, Inc., a member of the REMBE Alliance, Rembe.us , is a leader in manufacturing products for explosion protection and pressure relief systems designed to protect production facilities and personnel against the dangers of combustible dust explosions. For almost 40 years, REMBE Alliance has pioneered innovative technologies, such as the Q-Rohr-3 Flameless Indoor Explosion Venting System, which are used throughout the manufacturing world to improve plant and personnel safety.
