Scm Group’s Tech-Tour is designed to let you experience the cutting-edge technological solutions developed by Scm Group for panel processing. The tour will begin at Ligna 2013 Woodworking Fair in Hannover Germany, where Scm Group will be one the top exhibitor’s with over 26,000 sq. ft. exhibit space. Scm Group will be featuring cell technology and lean manufacturing processes to bring your factory the best innovation and performance around the clock.

Following the Ligna Fair, we will take you to visit our factories in Italy. Scm Group is constantly investing in its manufacturing facilities in order to provide lean and just-in-time capabilities for machinery production. We will show you advanced lean production lines dedicated for equipment manufacturing with tours of our foundries, automated component machining, robotic welded machine frames production, electro-spindle, and electrical panel manufacturing. We will cover all of the major functions that pertain to our working process and final product as well as all the services and support that the factories provide.

During the tour we will visit customers that are currently using the latest technology provided by our Group of companies in the area of nesting, inventory management and fully automated banding and boring lines.
