Available from SurfPrep by Dixon, the 5-inch and 6-inch Electric Ray portable sanders have a low-profile, ergonomic design with enhanced grip control and a balanced wrist support for two-handed sanding. They feature a 350 watt brush-less, outer-runner motor constructed with large magnets and run at four operational speeds: 4,000, 7,000, 9,000, and 10,000 RPM. They also feature a downforce overload system, which protects the sander from excessive pressure; a temperature overheat system, which monitors the temperature; and an internal breaking system, which stops the backup pad from spinning when pressure is taken off of the throttle lever. They are available in a central vacuum system, which connects to a stand-alone vacuum system.
