Cabinet Vision 2024.1, the newest version of Cabinet Vision software, is available from Planit Canada. The release packs in a multitude of advanced customization options and time-efficiency features designed to streamline design operations and enable the creation of unique, tailored products.

Highlighting key updates
2D CAD Enhancements
Quick Hatch
The novel Quick Hatch feature simplifies design operations by allowing users to apply their choice of Hatch with a one-click solution, effectively filling enclosed areas. This results in an effortless design experience and notable time efficiency.

Paste Images from Windows Clipboard
With the objectives of integration and ease in mind, Cabinet Vision 2024.1 now enables users to paste images directly from the Windows Clipboard into Cabinet Vision CAD. Eliminating the need for a third-party image editor creates straightforward workflows for capturing images or including specifications from websites in their submittals.

New Functionality for Assemblies
Measure Tool in the Section Editor
Our Section Editor, the most utilized and versatile feature of Cabinet Vision, now supports direct measurements without the need to switch views. This critical enhancement powers up the Section Editor's capabilities further.

Reveals Next to Taller and Deeper Adjacent Assemblies
The release brings the functionality to define door reveals on an assembly when it is next to a deeper or taller cabinet via a construction method, contributing to time savings and reducing error incidents due to manual intervention.

General Upgrades
JavaScript User-Created Standards
With this release, users can leverage JavaScript to create User Created Standards, making this feature accessible to a larger group of programmers. The inclusion of a robust, extensively documented programming language like JavaScript ensures seamless debugging using developer tools such as Visual Studio Code and easy access to reusable code online. Moreover, we've introduced a tool for converting a standard UCS into JavaScript.

Show Part Names and Sizes on Patterns
CNC Operators will find great value in this new feature. Part names and sizes can be visualized directly on each part on optimization and nest pattern reports. This improves part identification and eliminates the need to cross-reference the part drawing with a part list, thereby reducing errors.

Room level additions
Replace Assembly
Streamlining the design process is a key focus of Cabinet Vision 2024.1. The new Replace Assembly feature allows designers and engineers to conveniently replace an assembly used in a layout. This ensures changes can be executed swiftly during the design process, saving valuable time.
