Screen-to-Machine Optimizer

Cabinet Vision, a design-for-manufacturing system by Vero Software, announces the release of its new Screen-To-Machine (S2M) Optimizer. The S2M Optimizer allows users to quickly and easily convert cut-lists into patterns for import directly into an NC panel saw, says the company. It also enables printed patterns to be given directly to manual saw operators. The NC version of the S2M Optimizer also includes built-in links to nearly all NC saws on the market. Features available with the flexible S2M Optimizer include a Material Management system that allows users to set up and define all materials; two methods for entering cut-lists; and the ability to prioritize optimizations. By enabling users to set the priority of their optimizations, the S2M Optimizer offers flexibility and customization in programming. If material costs are a significant concern, the system allows users to designate a “Yield Priority.” If labor costs are the main concern, users are free to choose the “Labor Priority” option.  These and additional settings allow users to tailor the S2M Optimizer’s output to meet their needs. The Screen-to-Machine Optimizer is available for purchase online only with a 30-day free trial. Pricing is $500 for the non-NC optimizer and $1,500 for the NC optimizer, which links to a panel saw and includes one saw link.
