Outwater Plastics' Tri-Mod LED Backlighting Panels are suited for use in applications with less than 1-inch of installation depth and can be used to backlight graphics, posters and promotional messages in stores, restaurants, museums, exhibit booths  and in commercial and residential buildings.  The Tri-Mod LED Backlighting Panels can also be used to illuminate Onyx or Corian countertops and backsplashes. The backlighting panels generate LED lighting with a Color Rendering Index of 80. The solder free, interlocking and fully connectable prewired panels are available in six sizes and can be arranged in different configurations to accommodate a range of applications. Constructed of fiberglass, each panel uses dimmable SMD3528 LED Chips, and is manufactured with constant current technology,  offering an approximate life expectancy of 50,000 hours with minimal to no light degradation, says the company.  Each LED chip has a beam spread of 120° and provides 720 Lumens or 5500 LUX per square foot at an installation depth of 1-1/2-inches.
