BINH PHUOC, VIETNAM -- Ground was broken last week for what is being billed at Asia's largest plan for manufacturing medium density fiberboard.
The $120 million project is being undertaken by the MDF VRG Dongwha Joint Stock Company. Scheduled for completion in the first quarter of 2012, the plant will have the capacity to produce about 1,000 cubic meters of MDF a day, according to Nhan Dan.
The plant is a joint project between South Korean's Donhwha group and the Vietnam Rubber Industry Group.
