PHOENIX, MD -- The Scholarship Foundation of the Woodworking Machinery Industry Assn. (WMIA) presented $29,000 in scholarships for the coming school year to 10 recipients pursuing careers in wood technology, machinery or related fields. This year's recipients, who were chosen based on academic success and special abilities as well as other factors, are:

Brian David Beck - Pittsburg State University
Matthew Loren Beverlin - Pittsburg State University
David Jonathan Fales - California State University
Jeffry Brian Perkins - Pittsburg State University
Corey Adam Rader - University of Rio Grande
Daniel Lee Roethle - Virginia Tech University
Nathan Ray Schrock - Pittsburg State University
Thomas Walter Tuck, III - Appalachian State University
Scott Michael Vasey - Pittsburg State University
