LAS VEGAS – World Market Center said a recently completed study that it commissioned shows that Las Vegas will surpass High Point as the nation’s leading furniture market “within a few short years.”
The purported $250,000 study, designed by THMG of Cleveland and conducted by BlueSky Research, both of Cleveland, OH, included qualitative and quantitative phases along with exit surveys that ran from January to July 2007. The research polled qualified home furnishings manufacturers and buyers.
According to WMC, “65% of buyers believe that World Market Center will be the most important home furnishings market in the next five years, and 31% believe it is the most important market now.”
