TAYLORSVILLE, NC – William T. Tunstill, CEO of Mid-Atlantic Wood Products Inc. passed away on Sept. 4, according to the Hardwood Plywood and Veneer Assn. Tunstill is survived by his wife Willisteen; children David, Chris, Terry and Tim; six grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. Tunstill began his career in the woodworking industry at Nickey Brothers Lumber Co. and eventually was involved in the startup of two companies — Seaport Plywood in 1977 and Mid-Atlantic Wood Products in 1982.
