MARCO ISLAND, FL -- A trio of interactive panel discussions featuring thought leaders of the cabinet and architectural woodwork industries will be held at the Woodworking Industry Conference in Marco Island, FL.
Rich Christianson, associate publisher and editor at large of Woodworking Network, will moderate the Furniture Forum.
Each of the forums is designed to shed light on what top woodworking companies are doing to improve their manufacturing processes, including breaking production bottlenecks.
The WIC, will bring together members of the Wood Machinery Manufacturers of America (WMMA), Woodworking Machinery Industry Assn. (WMIA), Association of Woodworking and Furnishings Suppliers (AWFS), National Building Material Distributors Association (NBMDA) and Wood Component Manufacturers Assn. (WCMA), May 4-6 at the Marco Island Marriott Beach & Spa.
âThis is the ideal opportunity for getting a true handle on where our industry is right now and where itâs going,â said Mark Chappell, president of the WMMA. âThereâs no substitute for face-to-face communication and networking with our peers and customers. And thatâs what WIC is all about.â
