NEW HOLLAND, Pa. -- Wellborn Cabinet, Inc. has announced the planned sale of Rutt Handcrafted Cabinetry in New Holland. Wellborn Cabinet will be selling Rutt to Birch Holdings of PA, LLC, a wholly owned subsidiary of Birch Investment Partners, LLC.

Wellborn Cabinet also owns Cabinetry by Karman, located in Salt Lake City, Utah, as well as their own semi-custom Wellborn Cabinet brands located in
Ashland, Alabama.

“The selling of Rutt Cabinetry will give our people more time and energy to focus on our core semi-custom products, including Karman and all of our Wellborn brands,” Paul Wellborn, owner of Wellborn Cabinet.

David Roos, General Manager of Rutt Handcrafted Cabinetry, will remain with the new company in his current position. Additionally, the recent purchase will retain all current employees of Rutt Handcrafted Cabinetry. Birch has a plan to grow Rutt’s business and build on the tradition represented by the Rutt name.

Wellborn Cabinet provides custom and semi-custom cabinets to the kitchen and bath industry and is excited to continue along the path of pleasing customers for years to come. The transaction is expected to close in June, 2018.
