MARIETTA, GA – The Wood Component Manufacturers Assn. will hold its 2009 Fall Conference & Plant Tour Event in Appleton, WI, Sept. 20-22.

Facility tours include: Valley Custom Door, Wolf River Lumber, DeLeers Millwork, Elipticon, J. Pechauer Custom Cues, Oshkosh Designs, Oshkosh Door and Wisconsin Log Homes. Collectively these companies produce a wide variety of wood products from lumber, rough dimension and components to fully finished cabinets, pool cues, millwork, flooring inlays and entry doors.

The event also includes roundtable discussions on various topics such as lean manufacturing, optimization, software solutions, mass customization and chain-of-custody certification.
