VIKEN, Sweden – Valinge has signed a license agreement with Jiangsu Aofan Furniture Co., Ltd., a Chinese furniture producer.

The agreement will allow Jiangsu Aofan to use Threespine click furniture technology in its high-volume production of furniture. The Chinese company will use the technology for high-speed production of multiple furniture parts.

Feed-through processing was said to work well in the company’s production lines with the faster assembly and dismantling features of the Threespine technology.

The Chinese company has established a network of more than 200 furniture franchise stores in China, along with its own brand for Nordic-style furniture called E-Jeyik. Its furniture is made mainly of solid wood such as oak, poplar, ash and other species.
