The contracted room block at the Westin Hotel for the 7th Annual Closets & Home Organization Conference & Expo is sold out.

While some rooms remain available at the Westin during the show dates of Feb. 23-25, they are at a higher rate than had been negotiated by the event organizers.

The Closets Expo organizers have negotiated a $139 (plus tax) rate at the nearby Hilton Garden Inn. It is a short walk from the Charlotte Convention Center and the Westin. Offers for both hotels are scheduled to end on Tuesday, February 8.

"This is a good news, bad news situation for the show," said Rich Christianson, conference director, which also features the 2011 Custom Cabinet Conference and Wood Tech Summit. "On one hand, the room sell out reflects the growth of the show. We have 50% more exhibitors than we had at last year's show in Long Beach and we still have a month to go and attendence for the show is mounting. On the other hand, we apologize for any inconvenience to our out-of-town exhibitors and attendees, who would have preferred to stay at the headquarter's hotel."
