WHITTIER, Calif. - The Southwest Carpenters Training Fund, a union training center based in Los Angeles, will auction excess equipment June 22-24, online, with equipment located at its Whittier, California site.

Southwest Carpenters Training Fund, part of the United Brotherhood of Carpenters Union, oversees training programs for Southern California, Nevada, New Mexico, Arizona, Utah and Colorado. A non-profit trust, its activities include funding trade related apprenticeship programs and providing facilities and equipment that accelerate learning and reinforce a safe and healthy learning environment.

The union also partners with local education agencies to ensure a professional approach to its training. It aklso says it keeps abreast of technological advances and encourages the work ethics and values that turn out skilled and productive workers. 

Items being auctioned include large and small pwoer tools, saws, and other machinery:
