Top Shelf Design Awards finalists to be revealed February 5

CHARLOTTE --  The Top Shelf Design Awards finalists will be announced Tuesday, February 5 at 2 p.m. Eastern.  According to Michaelle Bradford,  editor of Closets & Organized Storage magazine, more than 80 entries have been received for this year's competition.  Bradford said the finalists will be announced with a Breaking News email that includes more details and links to a slideshow of the entries.

The Top Shelf Closet Design Awards are given annually to honor designers for their creative closet and home organization designs.

All award winners will be featured in Closets & Organized Storage magazine and celebrated at an awards reception during the 2019 Cabinets & Closets Conference & Expo, March 6-8 in Charlotte, North Carolina. The Best of Show winner (project receiving the highest score from the judges) will receive a $500 gift card.

The Top Shelf Design Awards reception, sponsored by JB Cutting, CCF Industries and KCD Software, will be held March 7 in the NASCAR Hall of Fame Museum, located steps from the Charlotte Convention Center, during the 2019 Cabinets & Closets Conference & Expo.

Top Shelf Design Award Categories:

Garage: under 600 square feet; Garage: over 600 square feet

Home Office: under 150 square feet; Home Office: over 150 square feet

Closet: Closet: Laminate under 18 linear feet; Laminate over 18 linear feet; Closet: Wood under 18 linear feet; Closet: Wood over 18 linear feet; Closet: Reach in

Specialty: (craft, pantry, laundry, mudroom)

The Cabinets & Closets Conference & Expo is an annual event featuring a full-day conference, plant tour, and exposition, and is dedicated to home remodeling professionals specializing in building kitchen cabinets, closets, and other home storage designs. The Cabinets & Closets Conference and Expo will co-locate with Wood Pro Expo, which is held annually in Charlotte.
