Timesavers Acquires Dubois Wood Finishing Equipment

MAPLE GROVE, MN -  A manufacturer of widebelt sanders and grinders, Timesavers LLC has acquired Dubois Equipment Co., a producer of wood finishing machinery and systems.

The news was announced Aug. 25. Dubois will continue to operate under its current name.

"We are extremely excited about the opportunities of bringing together these two well-respected companies that share the same culture of dedicated customer satisfaction," said Bob Williams, president and CEO of Timesavers. "We see tremendous opportunities to pursue together in the wood and non-wood markets."

Jim Arvin, president of Dubois, added, "We are excited to be part of the Timesavers organization. We believe this is a great opportunity for our company and our employees. This will allow us to better serve our customers' needs and expand to other markets."

Timesavers has been producing equipment since 1946. Its woodworking line includes: widebelt, orbital and moulding sanders; planers; segmented polisher and brush technologies. Similarly, Dubois has been manufacturing equipment for more than 60 years, including: curtain and roll coaters; spray, vacuum and edge finishers; curing ovens; embossing and laminating equipment; and material handling equipment.
