MISSISSAUGA, ON - TAWI Canada, a provider of lifting solutions for the wood industry, will conduct hands-on demonstrations of its vacuum lifters at the Woodworking Machinery & Supply Conference and Expo, Oct. 31- Nov. 2 in Mississauga, Ontario. TAWI says its vacuum lifters can be customized and adapted into every step of the wood processing workflow to support business needs.
The Richmond Hill, Ontario-based company’s labor-saving and production-enhancing solutions include:
Economical stacking and palletizing: TAWI notes that palletizing wood usually requires the operator to tilt them between horizontal and vertical positions, a process that is both difficult and exhausting if done without the help of a lifting aid. A TAWI vacuum lifter is specifically designed to simplify this process, instantly increasing workflow productivity and reducing overall costs.
Lift wood safely: Handling big sheets of wood, doors, planks or other large and awkward wooden products is often a strenuous two-man job. TAWI vacuum lifters make it a simple one-man job that will not wear people out. Lifting with vacuum power allows the user to keep an even pace all day, and maintain an ergonomic working position at all times, saving both time and effort. TAWI vacuum lifters can lift wood sheets wood weighing up to 500 kilos. The sheets can be rotated and tilted up to 180 degrees, making it easy to move doors, panels and other wood materials to where they are needed.
Efficient CNC loading and unloading: CNC loading and unloading usually requires more than one operator to handle heavy sheets into and out of the machine center. This also requires operators to reach over and place them accurately onto the machine’s table. By using a TAWI lift system, wood products can be loaded and unloaded safely and ergonomically. TAWI says its user-friendly control makes it easy to fully manage a load, and ensures an ergonomic working position to adjust lifting height as well as grip and release the load with a simple one-hand grip.
Return on investment: Lifting heavy wood safely and efficiently is possible when using lifting equipment that can meet a company’s operational needs. TAWI can provide custom solutions tailored to support a manufacturer’s specific objectives and improve the bottom line.
TAWI will exhibit at WMS booth #1532. For more information about TAWI’s vacuum lifting line visit TAWI.com; email email@example.com or phone 905-881-1633.
