LaVergne, TN – The new Powermatic® Tailstock Swing Away takes the grunt work out of removing the tailstock for turning work pieces off the end of a wood lathe. The handy accessory is designed for use with Powermatic lathe models 3520, 3520A, 3520B, and 2020.
“In a few easy steps, the new Powermatic Tailstock Swing Away clears the lathe bed to make room for end-turning operations,” said Katie Davidson, Powermatic’s Product Manager.
With the tailstock locked on the swing away, simply loosen the knob and lower the tailstock out of the way. The tailstock can be replaced by swinging it back to position on the bed and tightening the knob. The Powermatic Tailstock Swing Away will not interfere with a bed extension mounted in the lower position.
