Sixteen trade associations and groups back ‘Green” conference

SCHAUMBURG, IL – The number of trade associations and industry groups supporting the second Dollars & Sense of Going Green Conference has reached 16.


Among the newest backers of the two-day educational summit are the Association for Retailing Environments, the American Hardwood Export Council, the Architectural Woodwork Institute and the International Wood Products Assn.


Other supporters include the Appalachian Hardwood Manufacturers Inc., the Association of Woodworking and Furnishings Suppliers, the Business and Institutional Furniture Manufacturers Assn., the Composite Panel Assn., the Hardwood Plywood & Veneer Assn., Hardwood Review Weekly, the Hardwood Tree Improvement and Research Center at Purdue University, the Indiana Department of Natural Resources, Division of Forestry, Indiana Hardwood Lumbermen's Assn., the Indiana State Department of Agriculture, the National Hardwood Lumber Assn. and the Wood Component Manufacturers Assn.

 

The conference is scheduled for Nov. 19-20 at the Renaissance Schaumburg Hotel in Chicago’s northwest suburbs. It is being organized by Purdue University and Wood & Wood Products. Banks Hardwoods Inc. is the sponsor of the event.
