Six wood machinery firms plan joint dealer training in New York June 21-23

HAM LAKE, Minn. -- Safety Speed Manufacturing has announced that six U.S. manufacturers are joining forces for the third annual Dealer Training Event on June 21 - 23.  Multiple attendees from different machinery dealers across North America will be attending the training.

The event is sponsored by six U.S. companies: Safety Speed Manufacturing, Original Saw, James L. Taylor Manufacturing, Unique Machinery, Williams & Hussey, and Air Handling Systems. The training event will be held over a total of third days including a golf outing and a ball game with the Hudson Valley Renegades. With sponsor machines setup onsite attendees will be able to get hands on training from each manufacturer represented.

The training event will also include informative lunch presentations by Jamison Scott about the various aspects of combustible dust. Jamison Scott holds the position as executive vice president with more than 20 years of experience and is third generation member of family owned industrial ventilation manufacturing firm Air Handling Systems located in Woodbridge, Connecticut. In addition he is the immediate past president of the Wood Machinery Manufacturers of America (WMMA).   

The training will be conducted at the facilities of James L. Taylor Manufacturing in Poughkeepsie, New York, with following manufacturers represented:

Safety Speed Manufacturing. This company builds panel processing machinery including a full line of vertical panel saws, panel routers, widebelt sanders, edgebanders and screw pocket machines.

Original Saw. Company manufactures radial arm saws and horizontal panel saws.

James L. Taylor/JLT Clamps. JLT Clamps a division of James L. Taylor Manufacturing has been producing clamping systems in Poughkeepsie, New York, since 1911.

Williams & Hussey. Williams & Hussey produces moulders for the woodworking industry, offering straight, curved and elliptical moulding applications to the professional woodworker.

Unique Machine & Tool. Unique Machine & Tool specializes in the manufacturing of door making equipment.

Air Handling Systems. The Woodbridge, Connecticut, company is known as a leader in the dust collection and fume collection industry as well as for industrial ventilation and air handling.
