Simpson Manufacturing releases 2024 Sustainability Report

PLEASANTON, Calif. — Simpson Manufacturing Co., Inc., a manufacturer in engineered structural connectors and building solutions, has published its Fiscal 2024 Corporate Social Responsibility Report. Highlights of the company's commitment to social responsibility and environmentally sustainable business practices to its employees and stakeholders include:

  • Becoming a national sponsor of ACE Mentor, a nonprofit that focuses on bringing young people into the construction trades.
  • Extending the company's three-year partnership with Building Talent Foundation through 2025.
  • Making donations of more than $125,000 to Habitat for Humanity International.
  • Increasing the number of scholarships from 100 to 120 a year, and the scholarship amount from $2,500 to $3,000 per awardee.
  • Achieving $202,953 in employee donations. The company match resulted in $405,906 donated to eligible nonprofit organizations – a 141% increase compared to the prior year.
  • Partnering with Gallup to conduct Simpson's 2024 annual Global Employee Engagement Survey.
  • Reducing the company's TRIR (Total Recordable Incident Rate) to 0.99, exceeding its 2025 goal ahead of schedule.
  • Winning several innovation awards in 2024.
  • Committing to continuously improve energy, water and waste performance.
