DRUMMONDVILLE, Quebec – Drummondville, home of Salon Industriel du Bois Ouvré (SIBO), bills itself as Quebec’s Capital of Expression and Traditions. The city, located on the banks of the St-François river, is rich in culture both past and present.

The Centrexpo Cogeco, where SIBO 2020 will take place April 23-25, represents Drummondville’s nod to the 21st century. The gleaming, state-of-the-art expo center represents the most modern infrastructure of its kind in Quebec. In addition to 87,000 square feet of exhibition space, the facility features modern meeting rooms, a 140-seat restaurant and 1,200 free parking spaces. The Grand Times Hotel, SIBO 2020's headquarters hotel, is connected to the Centre Cogeco. The exhibit center is centrally located between Montreal and Quebec at the crossroads of A 20 and A 55.

In stark contrast, is the Village Québécois d'Antan (Quebec Village of Yesteryear), Drummondville’s leading attraction. The Village Québécois d’Antan has 70 buildings representing Québec from the years 1810-1930, including period homes, sheds and barns, plus nine reconstructed main buildings. The village will be wrapping up its Sweet Village festival, an annual tribute all things maple syrup, during SIBO 2020.  Visit Village Québécois d'Antan’s website.

Downtown Drummondville, the go-to place for dining and entertainment, is located less than 10 minutes from the Centrexpo Cogeco. The Drummond Historical Society coordinates walking tours of the city’s storied past.
