SCM North America plans open house with Congressman Rob Woodall

DULUTH, Ga. – SCM will welcome U.S. Representative Rob Woodall to its location in Duluth, June 1 at 2:30 p.m.

As supporters to secure and increase funding for Career Technical Education programs, this Meet and Greet will give SCM and its distribution and industry network the opportunity to come together and shed light on the importance of these programs that impact the woodworking industry. Supported by Rep. Woodall, currently the primary source of funding is through the Perkins Bill which has been reauthorized.

SCM would like to extend the invitation to others to join them in this very important event for the woodworking industry and Career Technical Education programs.  Attendees will have the opportunity to meet Rep. Woodall and view live machinery demonstrations. In attendance will be the local woodworking community, SCM employees, and educational institutions, along with SCM executives.

Andrea Aureli, CEO, SCM Group Worldwide, and Giuseppe Riva, CEO, North America, will be at the event Friday, June 1 staring at 12 p.m. Rep.Woodall will be welcomed at 2:30 p.m. at SCM North America, 2475 Satellite Blvd., Duluth, Georgia 30096.
